Arrow keys—turn spaceship
Z—go forwards
X—go backwards

To scan a planet, come to a full stop in front of it.

Keep an eye on your fuel dial. Your ship runs on elements commonly found in the atmosphere of gas giants.

Minor (but potentially helpful) spoilers: garden worlds provide random encounters, rocky planets tell a small narrative arc, and gas giants refuel your ship.

hey really love this but it crashes pretty quickly when playing browser and it won't load from the itch app - do you have a recommended way of playing

This game is delightfully lonely and somber, in a way... The little narrative here is super fitting, and, just... flying around, zooming to planets to scan them repeatedly, trying to get all of that tasty, tasty flavor text with everything... IT'S REALLY RELAXING. Not only because the action itself is therapeutic, but the visual and audio are both really relaxing as well. IT LOOKS, SO GOOD. IT'S GENUINELY BEAUTIFUL, LOOKING AT ALL THESE PLANETS GLITTERING IN THE GALAXY. Which!!! Yeah!!! It's a beautiful game.
